The Role

  • Invoicing Customers and managing receivables. You will develop an excellent working relationship with a portfolio of clients and handle any queries on their account.
  • Accurate weekly debtor’s report with appropriate commentary.
  • Processing large volume of payments to Subcontractors.
  • Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) – Ensuring Revenue is notified of all payments to Subcontractors and that Monthly RCT returns are completed and returned timely.
  • Ensure all Subcontractors insurances are maintained and up to date.
  • Plant Hire Invoices – processing of all incoming Plant Hire invoices from recording the receipt through to payment.
  • Auto Lease Invoices – Processing of all incoming Lease invoices through to payment.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required from time to time.

  • Work alongside the finance management in a team environment.

What you will need to bring to Purcell Construction:

Key requirements:

  • Qualified Accounts Technician through ATI or similar qualification.
  • 5 years experience working in a similar role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central (Navision) or other large ERP system is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent IT skills including Windows, Word, and Excel skills.
  • Working experience with Relevant Contracts Tax.
  • Develop an excellent working relationship with a portfolio of clients and handle any queries on their accounts.
  • Liaise with the Quantity Surveying department ensuring Subcontractor Payments Certs are processed as per contractual terms.
  • Work with Purchasing Department and Site Teams in resolution of any Plant Hire queries.
  • Ability to resolve issues and propose solutions to issues that arise on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ability to focus on multiple tasks, while meeting all internal deadlines.
