The Role

  • Review and assessment of tender documentation including interpreting drawings, specifications, reports and general scope of works requirements.
  • Preparation of consultant, subcontractor and material packages for pricing using latest estimating software.
  • Review and preparation of consultant, subcontractor and materials cost analysis for cost comparison purposes.
  • Continuous management of tender documents.
  • Pricing and review of preliminaries items for review by senior management.
  • Assistance in the completion and return of tender documents.
  • Assistance in the preparation of project handover reports including collation of the necessary and associated documentation.
  • Preparation and maintenance of estimating data for reports and tender application.
  • Continuous CPD and Training Courses to meet the role requirements.

The Candidate

  • Have relevant diploma or degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a Construction related discipline.
  • Have relevant on-site experience and/or good technical knowledge.
  • Have a minimum of 1 years post graduate experience.
  • Possess good ability to read drawings, specifications and reports with capability to assess issues and risk.
  • Clear and concise communicator with an aptitude for problem solving.
  • Capable of working on his/her own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently while managing own time to meet critical deadlines.
  • Be proficient in word and excel and a knowledge of Conquest Estimating package would be a plus.
